2025 Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card Honouring Canada’s Unknown Soldier

The 2025 $2 Honouring Canada’s Unknown Soldier Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card is a moving tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve. Few national symbols hold as much reverence as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a sacred site of remembrance that embodies Canada’s collective gratitude and grief.
Designed by Mary-Ann Liu, the sculptor of the tomb’s bronze relief, this special issue marks the 25th anniversary of the Unknown Soldier’s repatriation and the completion of the National War Memorial tomb in Ottawa. Each keepsake card includes two versions of the $2 commemorative coin—one engraved and one colourized with a red poppy—the everlasting emblem of remembrance.
