A Whimsical Tale: Blimp 3 Oz Fine Silver Coin Canada 2026

Return to the extraordinary retro-futuristic universe of A Whimsical Tale with the Blimp 3 oz Silver Coin 2026, the second release in the Royal Canadian Mint’s imaginative steampunk series.

Following 2025’s A Whimsical Tale: Locomotive, the adventure moves from the rails to the skies. A magnificent steampunk blimp hovers above a bustling waterway and an elaborate cityscape where Victorian architecture meets gears, machinery, and clouds of steam. The result is a richly imagined world that blends the elegance of the past with a future that never was.

Struck in 3 oz of 99.99% pure silver, the coin’s antiqued finish beautifully complements its industrial aesthetic, emphasizing the intricate engraving and mechanical details throughout the scene. From the soaring airship to the busy streets and waterways below, every section invites closer inspection.

Hidden details add another layer of discovery, including literary references and a playful callback to the first Locomotive coin. Each viewing offers something new to uncover, reinforcing the storytelling at the heart of the series.

With its highly detailed artwork, substantial 3 oz format, and a reduced mintage of only 1,850 coins worldwide, A Whimsical Tale: Blimp is a captivating continuation of the Royal Canadian Mint’s steampunk adventure.
