Matching Serial Number 00002140 BEP Premium Federal Reserve $5 Set Series 1999 – 13 Notes

The 1999 Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Premium Federal Reserve $5 Set is an exceptional collectible presentation featuring 13 United States Federal Reserve Notes, each bearing the identical serial number 00002140. Produced in a strictly limited edition of just 2,000 sets, this remarkable collection celebrates the history of the Federal Reserve System and the craftsmanship of American paper currency.

Issued by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, this premium collection brings together $5 Federal Reserve Notes representing all 12 Federal Reserve Banks, along with an additional note. Each banknote features the same matching low serial number, creating a distinctive and highly collectible set that would be extraordinarily difficult to assemble individually.

The collection is elegantly presented in a professionally bound, 24-page book with a protective slipcase. Each banknote is accompanied by a photograph and a brief historical description of its issuing Federal Reserve Bank, providing collectors with an educational journey through America's central banking system.

An especially interesting feature of this particular set is the Atlanta $5 Federal Reserve Note, which exhibits an overinked Federal Reserve System seal resulting in the final letter "S" in "States" being missing. This unusual printing characteristic adds another dimension of numismatic interest to an already distinctive collection.

Preserved in Choice Crisp Uncirculated condition or better, the banknotes showcase their original crispness and attractive appearance. Combining matching serial numbers, limited production, official BEP presentation, and a notable printing anomaly, this premium set is an outstanding addition to any collection of modern American currency.
