Struck in 20g of .999 fine silver, this 20-franc special coin captures the earliest chapter of Swiss aviation—when hot-air balloons first rose above alpine valleys and ignited a national fascination with flight.

The obverse illustrates multiple balloon types and basket designs, tracking the rapid technological evolution of late-19th and early-20th century aeronautics.
